I will be standing as the Labour candidate for Whoberley, Coventry, in the May 2008 local elections. This is a place to discuss local issues which interest you, working together to make Whoberley a better place to live and work.

By stopping the early release of prisoners from jail.
I agree that prison forms an essential part of a strategy to make communities safer.
However, we also need to encourage people to get more involved in their own communities, to have a say on issues that matter to us, and to help people that are in need. Values that I believe represent the good people of Coventry and the UK.
Maybe this can help stop people going to prison in the first place?
